英語で日本の夏祭りを体験しよう！　をテーマに、スクールを開放して夏祭りを開催しました。

子ども達は工作でかき氷、たこ焼き、りんごあめ、金魚すくい、輪投げを作りました。

交代でお店屋さんになったり、お客さんになったり・・

自分たちで作ったお財布を持って、Teacher Cristyから教わったお金の数え方を思い出しながら買い物をしていました。

当日は浴衣を着て、お客様のおもてなしをしました。

We opened our doors to the public and held a summer festival: Let’s experience a Japanese summer festival in English!

Children made shaved ice, takoyaki, apple candy, goldfish scooping, and ring toss.

They took turns being shopkeepers and customers, carried wallets they had made themselves, and shopped while remembering how to count money that Teacher Cristy taught them.

On the day of the event, children wore yukata and entertained our guests. 

異文化体験第２弾！　アメリカから遊びに来てくれたTeacher達と一緒にティーパーティーをしました。

オレオクッキーを牛乳につけて食べたり、ピザ、プレッツェルやポテトチップなど、どれもこれも子ども達の大好物がいっぱい！

みんな笑顔いっぱいで美味しそうに食べて・・あっという間になくなってしまいました。

最後に感謝の気持ちを手紙に書いて、Teacher達に渡しました。

We held the second intercultural experience event! 

We had a tea party with the teachers who came to visit us from the United States!

Children tried Oreo cookies dipped in milk, as well as pizza, pretzels, and potato chips. Everything was their favorite foods!

Everyone was smiling while eating delicious food, and it was gone in no time.

At the end of the day, they wrote a letter of thanks and gave it to the teachers.

ネパールのティーパーティーを開催しました。

子ども達はTeacher Kajalからネパールの場所を教えてもらったり、サモサ、ミタイやチャイをいただいたり・・

それぞれ素敵な頭飾りも作って、異文化体験をとても楽しんでいました！

最後に感謝の気持ちを手紙に書いてTeacherに渡しました。

We held a Nepal Tea Party.

Children learned from Teacher Kajal where Nepal is located on the world map. They had some samosas, mithai, chai, and enjoyed getting to know the Nepal’s culture.

They also made beautiful headdresses and enjoyed the intercultural experience very much!

At the end of the event, they wrote a letter of thanks and gave it to the teacher.

いよいよ新年度が始まりました。

たくさんの経験を通して、子ども達の笑顔があふれるHappyな１年にしたいと思います。

The new school year has finally begun.

Through many experiences, we would like to make it a year of happiness and full of children’s smiles.
